Let us set the records straight: Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has nothing to do with the finality of the dismissed charges of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani. The ridiculous rumors the Yellow Party and its followers are spreading, that the current President made the decision, is the purest form of stupidity and ignorance.

The Supreme Court, the highest court in the country and has the ultimate say on all cases has decided in favor of the two former Presidents for two different reasons: for Marcos, it was that he was a soldier and for Arroyo, that there was insufficient evidence to prove her guilt.

Sure, Duterte ordered the burial – an act within the bounds of his power under the Constitution, but it had to go through the Supreme Court for the final decision. And they have decided. But you cannot really blame the Supreme Court either since its job, under the law, is exactly that: to settle cases.

Instead, blame your Party’s politicians for not doing anything for so many years they were in complete control of the government; Blame the lawyers your Party hired for not presenting enough evidence necessary to win the case; Call them out for betraying you and the truths you uphold. But then again, we are talking about the Yellow Party – a party that is literally known for doing nothing; so you can’t really expect much.
